I will not conform
A short vow against conforming to conventional expectation.
A short vow, posted in November 2014, in the form of an aspiration: that at all times and in all circumstances the wish to conform to conventional expectation should not arise for even a moment.
It reads as a companion piece to the Milarepa post that followed it two months later — the same refusal, stated in the first person rather than borrowed from a saint.
